Aussie Princesses and Pirate Charlie spent Australia Day flying around the Fairy Ring and into the garden as well.  The sun shone brightly on us and as we made our wands they seemed to drip with magic and fairy dust.  Simply magical!

A ‘fairy’ shy Princess and her friends gathered to celebrate Heidi’s 5th birthday.  Face Painting for all and plenty of sparkles too.  Games and wandmaking were a treat! 12 dancing Princesses danced around the Fairy Ring until they were worn out!  After all the excitement the children sat for a royal banquet, each with their own little box of goodies, so sweet.  Happy Birthday Heidi!

Face Painting on top of the hill, a beautiful breeze on a hot summers day!  What better way to spend a Saturday!  Opposite Cannon Hill Plaza where the old CSIRO buildings were will someday soon be a large shopping complex and housing, simply gorgeous plans.  To celebrate the sales launch 97.3FM kicked off the day with handouts and announcements.  Free susage sizzle, face painting and coffee too!  I am looking forward to watching the development grow.

Fairy Raine invited all her friends and family to gather at Fairy Lane for a festive evening of bright lights and Christmas cheer.  No face painting tonight just lots of happy smiling faces stopping to quench their thirst as they journeyed around the suburbs looking at the Christmas Lights.  A wonderful way for Fairy Raine to end a busy year and rest her weary wings.  Love to all and to all a goodnight!

Merry Christmas to all!  Fairy Raine joined Jumping Castle Judy at the Reddie Bay Golf Club for a gorgeous day in the shade of a gum tree.  Fairy Raine face painted for over 4 hours and it was the best day ever!  Lots of requests, lots of colour, lots of children too!  Fairy Raine flew from this ‘fairy’ busy party to another at the Camp Hill Bowls Club.  Fairy Raine’s wings were drooping by the end of the day!

Celebrating Christmas is something Fairy Raine loves to do!  Where there is love and laughter, Fairy Raine will be close by!  Fairy Raine face painted some cute lil cherubs today and some beastly dragon faces too.  Jaydon was rather fussy but pleased with the end result and Rowan wanted a red dragon mask, both inspired by Pashur.

The Brisbane Convention Centre in the heart of  the City was the venue for the annual Christmas Party held for children from all over Brisbane and further afield.  Fairy Raine and Santa flew in to greet the children on this special day.  

Fairy Raine set up a ‘fairy’ quiet corner with mushroom cushions to sit upon and books to read.  Chairs for the adults to rest and activities like colouring in pages too.  Fairy Raine sat beneath the Bright Lights cherry tree from Santa’s Workshop and gave free fairy hugs to all and posed for photos too.  You can see the photos on this website www.sassiphotography.com.au Click on the photo of Fairy Raine and Santa and enter the password fairy to see the pics. 

It was a fantastic event!  Rides and slides and singing too.  Magic acts and bellydancers.  Face Painting and Star wars characters. Face Painting at Christmas parties is fun!  I tried some new designs and old favourites too.  The children waited patiently to have their faces painted.  Santa arrived and that was it, no more face painting.  The children were entranced with Santa’s presence!  Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!

Fairy Raine joined Santa to celebrate Christmas at Seeds Early Learning Centre at Carindale.  It was a lovely day with so many families enjoying time together.  Lots of faces to paint and people to meet.  I met Gemma and Ruby, Zac and Sienna, Claudia, Amelia, Nicholas and so many more.  Santa was a hit!  He spent time with each of the Children and listened to their special wishes.  He really is a patient fellow!

Fairy Princess Amy turns 5!  It was a beautiful day, the weather was perfect.  We formed our fairy ring on the lawn in the shade and waited for all the little Fairy friends to arrive.  We sat on mushroom stools and shared stories of Fairy sightings and magic too.  Amy’s biggest wish was to fly like a fairy.  So we practised.  We flew around the fairy ring and learned the importance of balance for flying.  I had such a lovely time with Amy and friends:- Billie, Zara, Lara, Solie, Caitlin and Gemma.  Ruby, Gemma’s little sister, joined in too.
